    Hi Kevin,

    dbfs looks very good. What I wonder is: what can be the real use for it? The product heavily relies on fuse. This makes it a bit hard to implement on other platforms than Linux only.
    It would have been a lot more usable when we could mount it as a nfs or samba share …
    Am I missing something?

    If only we could mount this on Solaris and windows hosts, the use of dbfs would be a no-brainer. Sure, now Oracle owns Solaris, they could add fuse to Solaris …. This still keeps other OSes in the cold….
