I’ll second Patrick’s congratulations, well done.

Well, congratulations plus good luck with the new position at Oracle.

  3. 4 Noons September 11, 2007 at 2:58 am

and you do realize that becoming an Oracle employee means you can’t be an Ace?

    🙂

    Just joking, dude. Just joking!

Well done and congratulations. Loooooooong overdue, if you don’t mind me saying so.

    Noons,

I appreciate that, big time! Thanks. Now if I could just get a feel for what it will mean to continue this blog…

    Congratulations ;D
I hope no other ACE is going to pretend that you deserve the award less than him… 😉

Very well deserved, I’ve been reading your blog for a while now and like Noons said it’s overdue!

    John.

Now that’s really devalued the whole ACE program! 🙂

Well done. It’s good to see another big name join the ranks and add some credibility to the whole program.

Remember, now you’re an ACE you have to do something even cooler than you did before. I expect enterprise level performance from an external USB drive in your next blog entry!

    Cheers

    Tim…

    Congrats Kevin.

Now if I could just get a feel for what it will mean to continue this blog…

If you want to try what it feels not continuing the blog – imagine my face when we meet next time (SIOUG? MOOW? AUSOUG, UKOUG?) in the pub. 😉

    Tim, John,

    Thanks…much!

    Alex,

Because of this new position at Oracle I had to bail on my speaking session at UKOUG, so I might get by without taking a lashing from you one way or the other!

    🙂

    Tim,
funny that: we just had a good humoured discussion in the office on how to “raid5” a set of USB keys…
    🙂
